Charl en Yolande se Trou Koerantjie
Charl and Yolande were married on the 26 May 2012 in a stunning ceremony in front of family and friends. We worked with them to create “Die Liefde Rapport”, a custom-written “trou koerantjie” – their very own Afrikaans wedding newspaper.
The six-paged Afrikaans wedding newspaper told guests the beautiful story of how Charl and his wife-to-be Yolande first met, and subsequently fell in love.
The newspaper included a full-paged “verlowing” article complete with stunning photographs of Yolande beside the elephant in the sanctuary minutes after Charl proposed. Absolutely adorable!

In addition to lots of special advice from loved ones, and many of their favourite memories, their “trou koerant” included a thank-you section where the couple gave special thanks to guests of honour and loved ones that had passed.

Yolande wrote a beautiful poem for her husband to be, and Charl penned a romantic letter sharing the many reasons he is so in love with his beautiful wife with the world.
“Die Liefde Rapport’ was printed in black and white on six pages of authentic newsprint paper, each sheet being A3 in size, to give their “trou koerant” a real newspaper look and feel.
